Overview: The management of crowds in a correctional environment is an important part of maintaining the orderly running of an institution. We see every day, news reports of inmates rioting in prisons around the world. Students attending our training will learn a variety of tactics ranging from batons, chemical deployment, squad formations, tactical planning and use of force. We will also discuss the mindset of crowds and some reasons riots occur. This class was developed by experienced instructors who have been on the line dealing with hostile groups of inmates. Our realistic and relevant training will prepare students to operate in a high-risk correctional environment and handle dangerous groups of inmates.
