Overview: This three day course is designed for tactical officers and narcotics detectives who are required to make entry and secure a methamphetamine laboratory or CRBNE incident prior to assessment and processing. It will address technical/tactical aspects as well as the chemical and physical hazards associated with a tactical response to these situations. The course includes review of the specific issues with the tactical planning and response as well as a practical review of respiratory protection. The last two days involve practical scenarios utilizing SIMUNITION® along with personal protective equipment (PPE) and other lab safety equipment. The practical scenarios include the use of air purifying respirators and self-contained breathing apparatus while clearing a structure and executing a search warrant. Our instructors are nationally rated and recognized SMEs in this field with decades of experience.
